We were on the hunt for some bbq & hit the Jack pot with Caldwell. This location had a few tables inside, but not a ton of seating space. I placed the order over the phone, and it was ready when I arrived! The staff was extremely friendly. The menu has so many great options it was hard to choose. So we decided on the Mexi BBQ platter. There was so much food we had extra for leftovers. I still dream about that elote.

BEST BBQ IN ARIZONA MY GOSH! Finally I was able to find some Texas bbq that compares to my favorite place in California.. The ribs were absolutely stunning, perfectly cooked and exquisite bite. The service is excellent too, you get your food right away since they have cafeteria style. The backyard section is sunny, pleasant and the worker on duty showed us all the meats on the smoker. Absolutely incredible, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This time we tried the Carnitas and the Green Chile Verda tacos. They were excellent even better with the BBQ sauce. Service excellent as always! This time we ate outside and it was great. Perfect weather. I also picked up 3 bags of their smoked Beef Jerky and a bottle of the sweet in spicy.

Great food! We had the Mexi-Q Platter and a banana pudding for around $72. Plenty of food to share. I enjoyed the smoked sausage and brisket birria tacos. The sides were divine. I would get the tostada and a couple Mexi-Q Twinkies if I go by myself next time. Friendly staff was willing to help and answer questions. Waiting in line and ordering was tight as the inside of the place is small. The banana pudding was not overly sweet and was a nice sharing size.

The food here is amazing. Fresh, flavorful and just down right delicious. Everyone here is friendly and give you their favorite menu items. All around cool spot for lunch or even a date or bring the family. Great mix of bbq and Mexican cuisine. Love this spot, try to go any time I'm in the area!

Great Food! Great Service! I ordered the following; El General Patton Sandwhich - Mound of meat! Mexi-Q Twinkie- Great flavor and spice! Mac and Cheese- Creamy and delicious. If you're a BBQ lover--or even if you're not--this is a must-visit spot. I can't wait to go back for another round of smoky, meaty bliss!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! We actually came to Caldwell County "on accident" because another restaurant in the area sat us down and forgot about us. We were thinking of new places to eat and Caldwell Mexi-Q had been on our list for years! We had eaten at both Caldwell County BBQ locations and it was delicious. We were pleasantly impressed with our food here!! I had the chicken and green chili tacos - excellent, flavorful, the right amount of heat, perfect portion. The frozen marg was just okay but a nice way to round out the meal with the banana pudding! The elote was good and the mac n cheese was great!! There's only one table inside - but the outdoor seating was plentiful! It was such a fun date night or get together with friends/family spot. We are going to hurry back because I've been thinking about these tacos ever since!

Who knew BBQ and Mexican Food would be such a great combo! This fusion is fantastic. Got a "To Go" Order 2 Tostada's, 1-Brisket Birria Taco, 1- Dixie "V'' Brisket Sandwich, Jalapeño Poppers & a Brisket Elote Cup. Plenty of food for a group of 5! Everything was packaged and presented well for our carry out meal. The two tostadas were loaded with meat that was super moist and flavorful. Additionally, it has beans, fresh pico de gallo, cotija cheese & a delicious red sauce. The barria taco is stuffed with brisket birria, white cheese, onions and cilantro. Served with a side of rich consome. Brisket sandwich (Dixie "V'') had a generous amount of smoked brisket on a soft Hawaiian sweet bun. For something so simple it was crammed with spectacular smoked Q! Poppers were okay. Would have been better if the seeds and membranes were taken out! Fire & heat was too hot to handle & bacon could have been more done (crispy) on the exterior. Maybe even a nice drizzle of honey or a sweet dipping sauce would have offset some of that flare. The creamed corn was good with a generous amount of beef brisket on top. Caldwell's BBQ sauces were amazing. Generally, not a huge fan of the mustard based barbecue sauces, but theirs was my favorite out of all of them. The salsas were wonderful as well. Prices and portions were reasonable. Definitely enjoyed this combination of Pit meets Mex concept. Can't wait to try more of their exceptional menu!

I spent many years in the South, I am a little picky about my BBQ. This place is good! The brisket was perfect. I loved the Birria Taco. The elote was spicy! I loved the fresh veggies that came with our order, those definitely enhanced some of the bites. The tables outside were comfortable. I appreciated that a manager came by to ask how we were doing.
